In an effort to insure a safe and fun environment for all swimmers and coaches, the following policies have been adopted by the Baraboo Riptide Board of Directors.

1. All swimmers are expected to follow the directions given by coaches and pool staff.

2. All swimmers are expected to respect the rights of others and their property.

3. All swimmers are expected to obey all pool rules.

Any swimmer who does not display appropriate behavior will face the following consequences.

    1. First infraction: Removal from the pool and must remain on the pool deck for the remainder of the practice. A written warning will be issued and the parents of the swimmer will be notified.

    2. Second infraction: The swimmer will be suspended from the team for one meet. A written notice will be issued and the parents of the swimmer will be notified.

    3. Third infraction: Removal from the team. Parents will be notified.

    4. Alcohol & Illegal Substances: All swimmers are expected to avoid the use of alcohol and other illegal substances. Failure to comply with this expectation will result in the immediate removal from the team for the remainder of the season.

No refunds will be given to families whose swimmer is suspended.
